A pomodoro timer you can watch
Unfold shows time as something changing in front of you instead of a countdown. When a session starts, a candle begins to melt, a tree to grow, sand to flow; when it ends, the process is complete. You can feel how far you have come without staring at a clock.

Every theme tells time differently
Each one changes live during the session and rewinds during the break. Longer sessions mean bigger objects: a 3-hour hourglass stands taller than a 25-minute one.
-
Lighthouse
As the wax melts, the tower's windows sink into the pool one row at a time and go dark.
-
Forest
Every session grows a tree from a seed, and each finished tree is planted on your land.
-
Hourglass
Hundreds of grains a second pass the neck, fall, bounce and pile up.
-
Birth of Earth
The Earth gathers from a spinning disk of rocks, from magma to a blue planet with oceans and clouds.
-
Eaves icicle
The icicle on the cabin roof drips every two seconds while a small pool grows below.
-
Marble bucket
Two marbles a second drop into a glass bucket; the last one fills it to the brim.
-
Bismuth crystal
A stepped crystal grows out of liquid metal; the colors of its oxide rings show the time passed.
-
Fluted candle
Four colors and five places: library night, tea room, rainy window, greenhouse, winter cabin.
How it works
Pick a length (25, 50, 90 minutes, or anything from 5 to 180) and start. The remaining time is hidden by default and appears for a few seconds when you tap. Instead of chasing numbers you look at your work and read your progress from the scene out of the corner of your eye.
When focus ends, a short break begins and the scene rewinds. The classic pomodoro cycle is built in: a long break after four rounds. Breaks and the next focus can start on their own, and the cycle can stop at the end of a round.
Tag sessions as study, work or reading, and see your daily, weekly and monthly focus time, daily goal and streak in Stats. On a computer, Space starts and pauses, F goes full screen.
Questions
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
A way of splitting work into short, focused blocks: usually 25 minutes of focus followed by a 5-minute break, with a longer 15-30 minute break after four rounds.
